Meet the Founder

Elizabeth, Founder of Canasta Chicago Club

Building Community, One Hand at a Time

Elizabeth's love for games began in childhood, where fun and laughter with siblings forged a strong bond. This feeling of togetherness continued into adulthood, making game night the best part of the week while raising three daughters with her husband, David.

Canasta became her favorite game. It was simple, fun, and served as a powerful reason to gather with friends, consistently bringing people closer. This pastime quickly evolved into a real passion.

She looks to the big city of Chicago as a chance to share this joy. She aims to take the warmth and fun found in Canasta and use it to build a great community, bringing people together over a deck of cards.
